Our refurbished "maison de village" offers four uniquely decorated and very comfortable rooms as well as a self-catering gite, available for rent all year round.
The guest rooms offer a combination of sleeping arrangements from one to six persons, including a suite with attached living/dining room and kitchenette.
The gite is completely independent with its own private entrance. This has a kitchenette, bathroom (shower), and a bedroom; Ideal for two but the living area is equipped with a sofa bed, just in case. The gîte also offers access to the main terrace from an interior door, an added benefit not found in most rural gîtes.
All guests are offered table d'hote, with advance reservation, consisting of a
3 course menu which changes daily, offering the best of our local food and wine.
La Dolce Vita is ideal for discovering this beautiful corner of France and the delights of the nearby Canal du Midi. Alternatively, you can relax wih a glass of local wine on the rooftop terrace and admire the view of the surrounding vineyards. |

The Domain La Bauzeille Haute, formerly a hamlet of the village of La Serpent, is situated in the heart of the most unspoilt and beautiful southern French countryside, the Aude, at the foothills of the Pyrenees. Accommodation consists of two gites situated on this private property of 50 hectares, 2km from the village and just 40km from Carcassonne.
La Chene is a charming 200 year old farmhouse, sleeping 8-10 and Le Marron is a modern gîte with stunning views and terrace, sleeping 4-6.
Both gîtes have their own outdoor areas with garden furniture, umbrellas, sun loungers and barbecues and there is a pool. We have friendly donkeys, chickens, dogs and a cat and invite you to this haven of relaxation, silence and pure nature.

Our three gîtes are situated in the medieval ramparts of the village of Lagrasse.
Riverside is on the first floor, overlooking the River Orbieu, and has 2 Bedrooms,
1 Bathroom and sleeps 2-6. Balcony offers lovely views over the river to the 11th Century Bridge, it has 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms and sleeps 2-5.
Market Place is on the first floor overlooking the cobbled street and medieval covered market place. It has 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom and sleeps 2-6.
Each characterful gite has king-size beds and has comfortable, well equipped accommodation with Wi-Fi access and a communal games room.
Guests can enjoy the beautiful riverside garden and the pebble beach, easily accessed from the properties.
Lagrasse is in the valley of the River Orbieu at the foothills of the Pyrenees, a region renowned for the wine produced in the surrounding hills which also offer superb walking. Numerous Cathar castles and lovely beaches are within reach and the town of Carcassonne is 40 minutes away. |
