Le Clos de la Garde is located just minutes from Chinon in an ancient wine-making village in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage site. The beautiful
landscape is dotted with vineyards and meadows.
Bult in the 18th Century the accommodation includes two individual and spacious suites each consisting of a separate living room and bedroom, shower and WC. There are large and comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, tea making facilities, TV and W-LAN provided free of charge. The large meadow is surrounded by fruit trees and berry bushes and the vegetable garden provides organic food. Guests can relax in the tranquil garden or take advantage of a huge selection of nearby attractions, including a bike ride along the Loire River, visit the many castles or gardens such as Azay-le-Rideau, Chenonceau, Langeais, Villandry and Saumur. |

Our beautiful one bedroom gîte is situated in a quiet rural hamlet less than five minutes from junction 19 of autoroute A20 and a short drive from Argenton-sur-Creuse, Eguzon / Lac Chambon and the Brenne Parc Naturel. The gite offers well-equipped accommodation which sleeps two comfortably but can sleep three persons with use of the sofa bed. The accommodation consists of an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom with king-size bed and bathroom with both bath and shower. There is an attractive,

Domaine de La Thiau is a charming Mansart style manor house in the Loire Valley. Located between Gien and Briare, this splendid seven-acre verdant property offers two guest rooms and two suites each beautifully furnished with antique furniture and excellent facilities. The gites sleep either two or four people, one is a conversion of the stables and the other is on the ground floor of the guest house. Both offer attractive and comfortable accommodation with private gardens and access to the river. Guests can enjoy complete relaxation or explore the beautiful surroundings, including towns like Orléans and Bourges and Fontainebleau. The park runs down to the Loire river and guests are welcome to enjoy the seven acres and use the deckchairs, tables, tennis and table-tennis. There is a private lane throught the fields where dogs will be happy to run after hours sitting in a car. The owner is a vet and can arrange appointments for the Pet Travel Scheme or pre-return requirements.

Appletons is a friendly bed and breakfast perfectly situated in the Centre region of France, minutes from the historic medieval market town of Argenton sur Creuse, making it an ideal stopping point for travellers heading to the South of France and Mediterranean. 6 ½ hours from Calais and 10 minutes from the A20, exit 17. Leo the Labrador is always eager to greet new friends! Our two ‘pet-friendly’ rooms are located on the ground floor for easy access, and we have two more
bedrooms upstairs.
Evening meals include organic meats from a neighbouring farm and fresh seasonal produce from our garden, freshly prepared.
