This lovely riverside cottage sits along the towpath of the river Vilaine near the Brittany town of Guipry. Catering for four people it consists of a spacious, open plan tiled lounge with sofa and chairs, dining area and kitchen plus two double bedrooms, bathroom suite and toilet. There is a large, enclosed garden of fruit trees and mature roses. The orchard has a traditional brick 'Breton' barbecue and a large picnic bench for 'al fresco' dining under the shade. Dogs are welcomed and love the towpath walks and river dips, and many other walks are close at hand. We have fishing rights on the river. Walkers and cyclists can explore the footpaths and quiet country lanes in this lovely area and many other facilities are nearby including, riding, canoeing, boat hire and golf. This stunning dog friendly Chateau is set in a Nature Reserve of 53 acres, surrounded by beautiful park and woodland gardens; a marvelous place to stay if you like peace and quiet and a beautiful natural environment. From the farmhouse door you can take a circular walk skirting woodland and beautiful countryside. A short drive will take you to Gorges du Corong or the Nant-Brest Canal.
